Owner Kip Miller founded Lil' Charlie's in June of 1999 with the idea of welcoming families and friends in for a delicious meal, great service, genuine hospitality and a comfortable environment. Starting as a small, 86 seat restaurant, Lil' Charlie's has grown into a 210 seat restaurant with a one of a kind brewery added in 2009 and a newly expanded outdoor seating area in 2013. Celebrating our 22nd anniversary in 2021, we are excited to be the very first Brewery/Restaurant in downtown Batesville, Indiana.
We are proud to have an impressively large menu, filled with a variety of dishes to serve any appetite. From our smoked wings and savory seafood dishes to our perfectly prepared steaks and entree specialty salads, we have a little something for everyone. Indoor and outdoor patio dining is available for lunch or dinner to create the perfect mix of atmosphere and delicious food and drinks!
In addition to our food menu, Lil’ Charlie’s Restaurant and Brewery is also dedicated to bringing you excellent beer, handcrafted by our master brewers. Our craft beer menu is perfect for pairing with our delicious food items. Our own craft beers include Rear View Blonde Ale, Trail Cutter Brown Ale, Nobbler Pale Ale, Elsie's Double IPA and several seasonal favorites.
